PLAY: Process, Activism, Subversion

Saturday, September 19, 2015 to Thursday, October 15, 2015
Location: Fine Arts Building, Fine Arts Gallery
Play exhibit

Works can suggest the childlike in their simplicity or loose structure. Or they may gleefully subvert the status quo, through both sharp wit and disregard for authority. Or both. Working throughout California, the artists in the exhibition share a playful interpretation of cause and effect, the rational, the expected, the real and the imagined. Featuring works in a variety of media: painting, drawing video, photography, mixed media, soft sculpture, performance and more.
Organized by Professor of Art Chris Finley with the Fine Arts Gallery.

Gallery hours: Wednesdays - Saturdays, 11am - 4pm.
Reception: September 19, 1 - 3pm. Free.
